The NOAA/NWS Climate Prediction Center (CPC) just issued their outlook for September and for fall (September, October, and November).
Here is the latest update of the U.S. Drought Monitor. I have been calling for a slow easing of drought conditions as rainfall trends closer to normal. While the core of extreme or exceptional drought remains anchored over central Georgia, the extent of D0-D4 drought has been shrinking over the past 3 months.
